Tell us about yourself.

My name is Teodora-Victoria, but I have always gone by the nickname Tedde instead. I'm from Toronto, Canada and I am 21 years old. I'm currently in school to become a nurse. I've danced ballet for 16 years, sang for 13 years, and have always had a passion for horses and riding. Oh and I'm the hugest animal lover. I've worked with an animal rescue program for several years in the past helping stay and homeless cats/kittens recover from illness and find forever homes.

What is your biggest dream?

I have many! Some are very big and some very small. I also like to keep most to myself as sort of my own personal checklist through life that I am able to guage and fulfil for myself as my own dreams come true moment. Two of my current dreams though are to own horses when I'm older, but before then, be able to travel to a bunch of places!

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To me beauty is not strictly one's appearance. Of course everyone appears beautiful in their own way, but beauty is as much to do with who you are as a person and your actions in portraying yourself, as it is to how you look on the outside. Find out who you really are as a person, decide on what your own beliefs and desires are, and be confident with whatever you choose to do or believe because that's what your own kind of beautiful is.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

Honestly, not too much. When I was younger I was offered several positions in agencies but there was always one thing I needed to wait for to happen first. Either to grow an inch or go up or down a clothing size. Unfortunately by the time those things were met on my end,  the opportunity door had closed for me. So since then I've just enjoyed the casual photography of daily living and a handful of times have helped photography students with their quick projects.

What is your dream brand to model for?

Chanel. Hands down. I remember flipping through my mother's fashion magazines when I was younger and just adoring the classic and natural take on beauty within all their shoots for ads. That's really something I could only dream of doing one day.

How would you describe your fashion style?

Is it possible to say that I really don't have just one fashion style? Because if so, thats definitely the truth. I can't just stick to one style only, I find all the great aspects to so many different styles that I just have to try myself when given the opportunity! I am in love with classic vintage beauty, edgy modern, and hipster vibes just to name a few.

How important is self-awareness and confidence to you in your everyday life?

For myself, self-awareness and confidence is huge to be conscious about everyday. I'm not afraid to admit that I have had battles with anxiety since a young age. It can range from not even knowing it exists one day, to being so strong on another that simply doing a daily activity can be incredibly overwhelming. For me, being very self-aware is what helps me get through the tough times.  I know when I am taking on too much at once and I also know what it can do to me. Due to this, I must have confidence in the decisions and choices I make to ensure that I always do what is going to be best for me everyday.

What makes you beautiful?

What makes me beautiful I think is my ability to have understanding and empathy towards people in many different situations. Also, I am a very caring person who wants nothing more then to see my friends and family happy and feel good about themselves, so I try my hardest at all times to try and make that wish a reality everyday.

What would you say to another girl your age who is struggling with their confidence?

Find the people in your life who make you truly feel the best about yourself and build those bonds even stronger. Now that doesn't mean they have to be complimenting you left right and centre. The people who make you feel the most comfortable with being yourself, are the people that are going to build you up and with this will come your confidence. People that you do not feel yourself around, or when you say or do something and feel weird about it after based on their reactions, are the ones that will tear you down. This does not necessarily mean there is anything wrong with you OR with them for the matter. It just means they might not be the right people for you at this point in your life. Everyone needs the people that are going to build them up in life, not take them down.
