Tell us about yourself.

My name is Jackline Abbo, I’m 21 years old. I was born and raised in Uganda, but I currently live in Fayetteville North Carolina USA, pursuing a career in Financial Economics and Business. I am so passionate about Runway and fashion modeling, and many people have recommended me to become a runway model because of my height. I love traveling around the world and making new friends, and I would love to travel more while perusing my modeling dreams.

What is your biggest dream?

My dream is to pursue my career first, work in the fashion industry, and become a top model that represent world top brands. Also, my dream is to build myself as a role model that aspires every young talent who wants to pursue their dreams.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To be my own kind of beautiful means first of all loving my body, my height, and doing what makes me happy regardless of what other people feels or say about me.

What is your dream brand to model for?

My major dream brands are Victoria Secrete and Prada. But I would also love to model for brands such as L’Oréal, Calvin Klein, ZARA, Cover girl, Forever 21, Fendi, House of Versace, Ralph Lauren, Channel, Prada, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would describe my fashion as simplistic yet classy. I’m outgoing with all kind of fashion trends.

How important is self-awareness and confidence to you in your everyday life?

Self-awareness and confidence is VERY important to me. In the past I had experiences with people asking why I’m “tall and skinny” which affected my confidence and brought self-pity on me. But I have grown to learn that I have to love myself first in order to develop my inner peace and confidence.

What makes you beautiful?

I believe that my height, my confidence and my kindness outshines and makes me beautiful, and motivates me to keep me pushing.

What would you say to another girl your age who is struggling with their confidence?

I would tell another girl struggling with their confidence that be yourself and never underestimate yourself, and be the person you want everyone to look up to.
