Tell us about yourself

I'm from a small town called Dutton, Alabama. I'm a 35 year old mother of 5 beautiful children, 4 boys and 1 girl...finally, lol. I'm a cancer survivor of 4 years now and a nurse.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to live the longest healthiest life possible to watch my children grow up and hopefully have babies of their own one day. I've had the same dream since I was around 12  or so and that was becoming (BIG) in my eyes and the eyes of my children in the modeling world and really making something of myself for myself and for them.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

I used to think that being told I was beautiful was just something people said to be nice, lol. I've struggled with my self confidence for several years now and I honestly didn't know if I was strong enough to overcome it. I'm very pleased to say that after overcoming all the trails and tribulations that I've had to overcome in my time, I finally see my self worth, my beauty, and my fierceness to prevail.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I've been modeling off and on since I was 14 years old. It's always been my childhood dream that I've never been to shake, lol. I love being in front of a camera! Finally after being able to see what everyone else has been seeing all these years is absolutely beautiful and priceless all in itself.

What is your dream brand to model for?

 Victoria Secrets/Nike

How would you describe your fashion style?

Trendy, preppy, elegant with some spunk, lol.

How important is self-awareness and confidence to you in your everyday life?

Self-awareness for me is very important as it's the key element of how I maintain my routine cycle for having a greater confidence...Me being more clear about where I'm strong helps boost my confidence because it helps me focus more of my energy on doing what I'm good at, which increases my overall sense of confidence.

What makes you beautiful?

Firstly everyone is beautiful because they are unique in their own ways but, what I feel that truely makes someone beautiful starts from within. The kindness, respect, love, understanding and caring one has for others is so beautiful. There is no real beauty if it's only on the outside with a bad inner of attitude.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

Always keep your head held high and chin up. You are beautiful, smart, talented, and kind. You got this all the way so just keep up the awesome work.
