Tell us about yourself .

I grew up in Tampa, Florida and currently reside on a beach in St Petersburg. Living on the beach has brought me a very chill lifestyle, riding the wave on whatever is coming at me next. I occasionally spend time in the greater Boca Raton area to spend time with family, where I tend to do most of my modelling work. I am currently 21, but life is a movie and sometimes I feel like I have lived for way longer than that. I am an old soul, but I love fashion, shopping, travelling, eating delicious foods, sitting on the beach, and creating art. I love photography as a whole, being in front or behind the camera, and being a model is just where the fun is in creating a wonderful project or a work of art.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I love meeting new people, experiencing different types of creative flows and energies. Being in front or behind a camera is truly where I feel most comfortable where I can express myself through different poses or props throughout the mix. I eventually want to start my own clothing line, so fashion and all the parts that go into it really fascinate me. I have been modelling for three years now while juggling a bachelor's degree in interior design and I have been in a few shoots for startups and ambassadorships for brands and I have loved every minute of it. My mom has been doing shoots with me since I was very young and learned poses and flirting with a camera at a very young age, even if it wasn't a modelling job. I've also done some shoots for photographers expanding their portfolios in modelling photography and that has been a blast as well. My main focus at a job is representing the brand well, while also representing myself with the same respect and making sure every piece that I might be advertising is on point. I love editorials and catalogues the most because that's where I get to spend time with other models and try on as many looks as I can.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to use my modelling career as a voice to inspire, bring people together, and create new ideas for the future. My biggest dream is to have a relationship with my audience and fans that is positive, empowering, and creative. I want to pass the message that anyone can achieve their dreams when they put the work in, and to make sure they have a lot of fun doing it. I aspire to one day have my own clothing line that is comfortable but most of all fashion-forward. Where anyone from the size 000 to 32 can find something bespoke or close to it, that fits them perfectly, puts a smile on their face, and that they can feel confident in, during any time of day. I want to create a platform that is positive, inspiring, and people can talk freely of how they feel and not feel judged, but welcomed and included in the conversation.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Being your own kind of beautiful means to me that in every aspect of your life, though you don't have to love it all, it's important to remember to love yourself. Loving yourself gives you the greatest confidence to move forward in knowing what you want in life and having the security to go out and grab it with any resource you can. Being beautiful never has to be the one look we see on Instagram, sometimes it's in the mirror and you don't even know it.

How would you describe your fashion style?

My fashion style tends to be more and more particular as life goes forward. I love being and feeling put together in a well thought out way. I don't tend to find my inspiration on Pinterest or Instagram... but of my own way of combining and layering pieces to achieve the look I am going for. If I had to pick only three celebrity styles, I would go for Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner and a little bit of Jeffree Star. On any typical off-duty day, I love my Champion sweatsuits but I would also love to put on a cute button up cardigan with Levi's and Doc Martens or Nikes. I love sneakers, I love heels, and I love everything in between.

Who or what inspires you?

Waking up knowing I get to create something magical or something I know I am going to put my whole heart into inspires me every day. Whether it be creating an atmosphere for a shoot, creating a space for someone to work or live, or just making doodles in my sketchbook, it reminds me every day that I have a whole life ahead of me and gives me something to work towards. Having a dad as a self-made man is truly an inspiration to me that I can work to achieve my dreams and have it all pay off. I've never truly taken anything for granted in my entire life because of what he has taught me, and I truly owe it all to him.

What have been your greatest accomplishments?

My biggest and greatest accomplishment has been gaining a good head on my shoulders and knowing that with strength and willpower, I can overcome anything put my way. I can say all the things that I have achieved academically or what is on paper, but truly loving myself, respecting myself, making boundaries, I have truly made the most strides in. Putting my foot down, knowing what I want and putting myself out there has truly been my greatest accomplishment.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

Moving out for the first time to go to college really changed me because I didn't have a roommate and it really forced me out of my comfort zone. I got to keep my door open and let whoever come in and talk to me and I got to know very many interesting people that I still get to call my friends today. I grew up as an only child, and it definitely was not easy to put myself out there as easy as it is for me now. It taught me to look after myself in a whole new light and to create the confidence to make changes that I never knew had to change. Moving away to university definitely put me in my place when I decided to green light moving in with roommates, and it made me feel like an absolute outsider looking in. I didn't know what to do, as anything I did seemed like it was a chore for me to them. When my dog of almost 14 years was about to pass, I had older family that needed my attention, and I had a boyfriend back home, I decided it was mind over matter and I had to come home. Nowadays, I am lucky enough to live in my dad's empty condo as he lives in Boca Raton with his fiancée and things could not be better for myself. I learned that it's great to have a collaborative environment, but maybe not at all times to have some solitude and wind down.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

What makes me beautiful is that I have the confidence and knowledge to take care of myself and take on whatever life decides to hit me with. I am a strong woman, I can conquer anything I put my mind to. I'm a healthy, young, intelligent human being that knows what I want out of life and just how I am going to get it and make a beautiful future for myself. I exercise on a regular basis, I eat healthy meals, I love finding new recipes, I love learning new things, new cultures and experiences, I love meeting new people, getting to know them and why or how they've entered my life. I welcome anyone to my table that isn't toxic or fake, but anyone who is willing to listen and contribute. I could say my hair, or my eyes, but really it is what's on the inside that counts. I love expressing myself with different outfits, makeup, hair,  whatever I feel that day, I really have the courage to wear my heart on my sleeve and stand as the person I am today with full confidence in knowing who I am.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

The journey of truly having confidence is knowing who you are inside and knowing that you can do anything you put your mind to. It sounds daunting at first, but if you look yourself in the mirror and not immediately pointing out everything that's wrong, but instead count the things that you love about yourself, and trust me, you'd be surprised. That is only the start, but regularly practicing self-love and encouragement, it can go a long way. Telling yourself to keep going, stay strong, and that you're doing great can do wonders, even if you're not hearing it and getting the validation from another person. It is beyond taking time to take care of your skin, your teeth, yourself period, but at every step of the day, it is not about bashing yourself. It is about creating a relationship with yourself because at the end of the day, you are stuck with you, and loving yourself is truly the best way of knowing who you are and what you want and the steps you'll take of getting where you want to go. It's not something that will happen overnight, but something that takes a lot of acceptance and the knowledge that you can move forward.
