Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)

Hi! I'm Julie, I turned 26 this year, and I'm from south Florida. Currently, I live between Miami and NYC. I'm Taiwanese-Brazilian and love celebrating both my East Asian and Brazilian cultural backgrounds. I love to soak up the sun and enjoy a day out in the city with a coffee in hand. I'm so excited to be a part of the Hannah Noelle Models family!

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I've been a petite model for about 2 years, mostly doing print/commercial shoots with high interest in editorial/fashion shoots. I always knew I had a passion for modeling. This past year encouraged me to go after what I know I am capable of - and modeling is one of those things.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to have an impact on people's lives and inspire them to be the best version of themselves without reservation.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

It means to be yourself. To listen to your inner voice and confide in it. To shine and become radiant of all the inner confidence you bring to the world. No one else has your unique qualities except you, and THAT is beautiful.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I'd say a healthy mix of what you'd find strutting the streets of both Miami and NYC.

Who or what inspires you?

Those who don't care about what other people think.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

You can do anything you set your mind to. Don't listen to judgmental voices, no matter where they come from. What's within you is what matters most. Show that to the world, and you will become the best version of yourself - the best model you can be.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

I've been through many obstacles in my life. I struggled with an ill parent who passed away due to illness and I had to take care of my mom and younger sisters starting at a young age. We struggled at home, but never gave up. No one knew we were struggling because we were good at not showing it. My obstacles taught me to have gratitude and appreciation for all that I come across, and to never take anything for granted. It shaped me into being stronger and more confident - as the woman that I am today.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

My eyes - full of wonder, determination, and curiosity. They tell a story within themselves.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

Take a deep breath and find your center. Spend time and find the source of why you are struggling with your confidence. Soothe that part of you. Forgive yourself, don't be hard on yourself. What you bring to the world is something no one else can bring - you are your own kind of beautiful.
