My name is kaitlin smith, I am from Canada, I am Italian and Spanish- Canadian. I’m and 21 and I am super passionate towards the modeling experience!

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I have been modeling unprofessionally for 4 years as a freelance model! And everything about it, has been such an incredible experience!

What is your biggest dream?

One day I want to model for New York fashion week! And I intend to be known as a famous fashion model, like Gigi or Kendall!

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To understand your own beauty is such an hard request since we’re constantly told what beauty should look like. But for me, I think the most beautiful part of me is my heart and my compassion for others. Looking in the mirror only shows half the beauty, try beauty comes from helping others!

How would you describe your fashion style?

My aesthetic is more modern chic, I tend to be drawn to mellow colours, brown and beige pigments, as well as my shades!

Who or what inspires you?

My mama inspires me everyday, she is such a strong women, with 7 children, still looking like a boss each and everyday! She also use to model when I was born and she rocked it!

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Be safe, there’s a lot of conflict in this industry and with an agent you’re less likely to be taken advantage of. Some tfp photographers will use young models for their bodies and explore them, and I think if you have someone to guide you, who has the knowledge you’ll succeed!

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

Definitely growing up with a single mom had its challenges. But I think because of her, I was able to mature at a younger age, and financially I’m more inclined towards right and wrong decisions because of how she raised me!

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

My heart towards others, my smile (even though I have braces and a gap) I think the smile is the most fashionable thing you can wear!

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

Give it your all, the more comfortable you are, the more confident you’ll become! Believe in yourself and others will follow!
