Hi my name is Hallie Grace Withrow. I am from Louisville, Kentucky but just recently moved to Florida. I am a sophomore at the University of Mississippi and am majoring in broadcast journalism.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I have some modeling experience from when I was younger. I was in the American girl doll fashion show for a couple years and did some print work. The past 2 years I have been doing collaborative photo shoots with local photographers and have done modeling for local clothing boutiques to get me back into the modeling world.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to travel the world and get to experience every type of culture. I want to be a travel reporter and then move on to be a news anchor.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
I believe that to be your own kind of beautiful you need to be true to yourself and be confident in who that is. This is something that has guided me my entire life and made me into the person I am today.
How would you describe your fashion style?
My fashion style is very versatile, I love neutrals and sticking to the basics but will also branch out. I love finding new trends that I can change and make it last longer. I love fashion and all the different styles you can do with it.
Who or what inspires you?
My parents are my biggest inspiration because of all they have done for me and my family and everything that they represent. If it wasn’t for them I would never be able to chase my dreams like I do.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
My biggest advice for those who are starting out modeling is find your confidence and rock it!
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
An obstacle I feel that I have had to overcome in my life is people judging me for what I look like. I have so much to offer other than my looks and it’s so important for me to be able to express that. I want people to know that I am smart, kind, genuine, funny, dedicated, happy, loving and overall a good person.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
I believe that my smile makes me beautiful because it makes other people smile as well. I believe that my happiness makes me beautiful because it truly shows who I am.
What would you say to another guy/girl your age who is struggling with their confidence?
To anyone that is struggling with confidence I say believe in yourself and don’t let others change who you are or how you think about yourself. Everyone is beautiful and confident in their own way. It is just finding that thing for you to believe in yourself.
