About me:

I am from Baltimore, MD. However, due to my stepmother joining the army, I moved around my whole life. I lived in Baltimore, Virginia, Germany, Georgia and visited a host of other states and countries. I’m at 26 and I’m currently pursuing my degree in Mass Communication.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I’m fairly new to modeling. I started really modeling in the summer of 2021, after the passing of my father. I have walked in Baltimore Fashion Week, New York fashion week and walked for “The Dollhouse Boutique” this past summer. I also participated in Miss Maryland in 2018 with no modeling experience, winning top 15 for interviews. In August of this year, I was featured in “StyleCruze” magazine.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to become a supermodel/sports broadcaster. I want to show others they can live out their dreams, no matter where they come from.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To be your own kind of beautiful simply means to be the best YOU. It doesn’t mean to be flawless or to be nonchalant about others. Instead, it suggests to accept your flaws and accept other’s flaws too. That’s beautiful!

How would you describe your fashion style?

My personal fashion style is athleisure. My friends constantly say I remind them of a modern day AAliyah how I dress. I don’t really like formal attire but I can definitely rock it.

Who or what inspires you?

Music inspires me. Especially during photoshoots, they are able to help me set the mood for the type of shoot being done. Music is very powerful and universal, that’s one thing that brings the world together which is quite inspiring.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

My advice to a new model is to stay true to you. It’s going to get hard sometimes but you have to know your purpose in modeling and stick to it until you see it come to past. No matter who believes in you or stops believing in you never give up on yourself. Persevere!

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

I lost both parents within the last 5 years. My mom passed away in 2018 and my dad 2021. Those were the toughest times of my life. However, I learned that I gained 2 angels looking after me and that I must go after my dreams wholeheartedly- there is no time to waste. It shaped me to be a stronger much wiser woman. I’m not afraid to take risks anymore or to show love or forgiveness.

What makes you beautiful?

What makes me beautiful is the glow from the inside which is from our Creator. I have qualities such as kindness, respect and honesty which gleams from the inside out. Sometimes, I don’t have an hour to get ready so to be able to throw on anything and still feel good is beautiful.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

To another girl/guy my age struggling with their confidence, I would first apologize that they experienced trauma, then suggest they finding an outlet to express themselves whether it’s talking to a person or participating in an art. I would also let them know what I’ve been though to try to uplift and encourage them.
