Tell us about yourself

I’m Rileigh H, I am from Columbia South Carolina!

Tell us about your modeling experience:

I’ve been modeling for almost a year now and it has been my biggest dream come true.

What is your biggest dream?

To be in Sports Illustrated Magazine or to walk at NYFW.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To me, being your own kind of beautiful means to take the things you hide from the world and turn them into your new normal. Lead by example and with confidence and always remember that if you’re happy, that’s all that matters. You could be the prettiest apple on the tree and there’s still ALWAYS gonna be someone who prefers oranges. JUST BE YOU!!

How would you describe your fashion style?

Diverse. I love it all!

Who or what inspires you?

My grandma inspires me most. she’s the strongest person i’ve ever met and she’s always been there to pick me up when i’m down. she’s my number one fan.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Go for it. I was worried i wasn’t good enough to model for so long, and that fear deprived me of doing something that i now love more than anything.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

I was hit head on by someone who was texting and driving. My bodily injuries weren’t too severe but it changed the way i think completely. It gave me PTSD and i didn’t drive for two months afterwards. but it made me realize just how important it is to take in EVERY LITTLE MOMENT. You never know what day could be your last.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?

I think my heart makes me beautiful. The way i love. Good hearted people are so hard to find nowadays and having a big heart is something that i take pride in.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

Fake it til you make it is REAL. Just think about all the kids you pass by on the street who look at you and think “wow she’s/he’s so cool”. and i bet the younger version of you is so impressed with who you’ve become.
