Hi! I'm 19 years old and from the Metro Detroit area. I'm a former dancer and athlete and I enjoy all different kinds of art. I love to travel and hope one day modeling will lead me to beautiful new places!
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I've been modeling for a year and a half now and have experience in photography and runway all through jobs in Detroit. I'm signed to multiple agencies and hope to make more connections in the near future.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to be able to work full time as a model and travel all over the world with this job.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
To be your own kind of beautiful is to be authentic to yourself. Don't chase after what other people think is beautiful, know your definition of beauty and stay true to it. Let it inspire you!
How would you describe your fashion style?
Very versatile. I love experimenting with different styles. It's a mix of everything but in the best way possible!
Who or what inspires you?
It inspires me to watch the people around me go after their dreams and achieve things they didn't think were possible. It gives me hope that I can do the same and also makes me happy to see my friends succeed.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
Everyone starts somewhere. It's better to start at the bottom and work your way to the top, than to never try at all.
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
Mental health is the biggest obstacle I've had to overcome. It completely took over my world and at a time seemed like a larger than life problem. In the long run it taught me patience. Meaning everything can't be solved as quick or easily as we wish it could. Although it was a struggle, it has made me stronger and more confident in who I am.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
I'm beautiful because I'm surrounded by amazing friends and family who have helped me become a more loving and kind version of myself. I have learned so much from them and they continue to inspire me.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
I would say remember what traits you find admirable about you. Don't compare yourself to social media beauty standards, we are all beautiful in our own way. Be kind to yourself, and remember self care is important!
