Tell us about yourself: Heya! I’m Keyssie and I’m from a small town in New Jersey. I’m currently 20 years of age and as I grew, I found myself always trying out new things and that’s been something that I’ve always loved. I have always known that I wanted to become a model and I’m so excited for this journey!

Tell us about your modeling experience. I started to model at the age of 18 when I joined a modeling based group that helped me improve my skills over the years. I was able to participate in different fashion shows, shoots, and up to this day continue to attend castings.

What is your biggest dream? My biggest dream would definitely be to walk for a huge brand like VS, and continue from there.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful? I think it starts with getting to know yourself better every day and living life how you want to live it without looking back at others. Spreading kindness and being genuine with yourself at all times.

How would you describe your fashion style? I never really had a specific fashion “style” but I know that I love to try out new things when it comes to my outfits and dark colored clothing is my favorite!!

Who or what inspires you? My mom. She has always pushed me to go for what I want and has been here with me every step of the way.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling? Don’t give up, know that your time will come and you are doing just fine.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you. Growing up I felt I was never good enough for anything, I was bullied for my looks and that messed with my confidence. I struggled a lot during those times but I feel like without it I would’ve never learned how to be understanding or outgoing.

What makes you beautiful/handsome? Id really like to believe that my kindness towards others and the urge I get to just listen to other makes me beautiful.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence? It’s hard to believe at times but you are beautiful and will grow to love being in your own skin. Everything will be okay.
