Tell us about yourself

I am 28 years old and a Texas native. I currently live in Dallas, TX and I am the oldest of 5 children. I am in online classes for neurobiology, and I hope to graduate in 2026. I have a Golden Retriever named Hootie who is 8 years old, and a Calico cat named Nyx who is 9 months old. I was in the Navy for 5 years as a Hospital Corpsman where I was stationed with the Marines in Virginia.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I helped a jewelry store in Bethesda, MD. I was on their Instagram page, as well as the Instagram for the makeup artist. I also did TFP shoots for a year in San Antonio, TX. Those pictures were featured on the pages of the photographers on Instagram.

What is your biggest dream?

To help people realize that there are many different ways to help the world, whether it’s through community service or through academic achievement. No contribution is too small if it helps others and makes the world a better place for some people.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

I think it means to be confident in your own body, and to recognize that no two people should be compared based on their physical looks. I think it means to have a good heart, good intentions, and to try to make the world a little more beautiful by being better to the people in it.

How would you describe your fashion style?

Feminine, elegant. I enjoy wearing dresses, fitted slacks with blouses, skirts, and styling them with heels, matching jewelry, belts, and boots.

Who or what inspires you?

My uncle, and mother inspire me. My uncle was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease but still travels, studies, and enjoys every day that he has with the people he cares about. My mother went back to school later in life and became a Special Education teacher. She is always kind and patient with her students, going above and beyond for her classes. She brings in food, toys, and helps them understand what they are learning. Her kindness, patience, and willingness to help always show through and enhance her physical beauty.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Be patient, work hard, have people around you who can help you do both of those while they also remind you that you are still beautiful.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

One of the biggest challenges I have faced in my life was when I got injured during boot camp and stayed there for two extra months. It changed me because it made me look deep inside myself for the determination, resilience, and commitment to see to the end of what I had committed to, even if it wasn’t going to be easy and was going to require patience and strength I didn’t know I had at the time.

The other biggest challenge was serving in the Navy during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, but not being able to help or check on my family. It changed me because I had to learn that there would be situations where I would be powerless to truly help those I care about. I became stronger, and found comfort in the people who were in the same situation as I was.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

My kindness, my willingness to understand, and my want to help others feel better about themselves.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

Everyone is unique, special, and contributes to the world. Don’t compare yourself to others, but find comfort in who you have around you because they see you for who you truly are and what you are capable of.
