Hi, I’m TaRae H, I’m 24 years old, originally from New Jersey, but I’m currently living in Charlotte NC. By day I’m an esthetician. I love all things beauty & fashion 

Tell us about your modeling experience:

My modeling experience has been just that, an experience. I’ve walked in LA & NY Fashion week, I’ve competed in modeling competitions and I’ve had a few photoshoots. All great experiences that have helped build my portfolio 

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to star in a cosmetics commercial for a renowned beauty brand.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Being your own kind of beautiful means to embrace your uniqueness & loving your authentic self 

How would you describe your fashion style?

My fashion style is super diverse and changes with emotion. Most days I feel like being edgy, other days I like being cozy & chic

Who or what inspires you?

The little girl who was strutting in her mother’s heels, posing in front of the mirror at the age of 5 is who inspires me. She was me.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Be your own beauty standard. Do not follow trends. You will get noticed for being yourself 

Describe some obstacles you have faced and how have they changed you?

Moving to a state where I have no family has shaped me. It has made me into an independent adult, handle priorities and go after what I truly want

What makes you beautiful?

My heart makes me beautiful. I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve & those around me are able to see that 

What advice would you offer someone who is struggling with their confidence?

To any girl/ guy struggling with confidence, I would say that you are you for a reason. You are special and meant to touch the lives of other. Do not let the outside noise from social media influence how you feel about yourself
