Tell us about yourself

My name is Aracely C. and I am a figure skater, model, and actress from Houston, TX. I have always been a sporty person and into makeup and fine arts. I am currently in school getting my Psychology degree.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

Since I was about 9 years old I grew up doing a few beauty pageants and photoshoots here and there which led me into taking modeling a lot more seriously. I never was signed to an agency until I signed with Hannah Noelle Models but modeling was always a confidence booster for me to do on the side. I'm finally getting back into it again as an adult and I'm so excited and happy to be doing what I love again.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to be a successful print and commercial model, as well become as an actress. I also would like to earn my PhD one day as well.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To be my own kind of beautiful is to be myself and express who I am, I feel like for many years, I was hiding who I was because I was scared of getting judged by strangers. Now that I am an adult, I feel much more carefree about how I express myself through clothes and makeup.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would describe my fashion style to be very intertwined. I can dress very avant-garde one day, then preppy or old money the next, I would say my favorite would be romantic grunge/grunge.

Who or what inspires you?

My friends and sisters inspire me, they push me to do better.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Find out what type of modeling you want to do first. Print, runway, commercial, etc, and practice! The possibilities are endless!

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

My smile is the first thing someone notices about me first most of the time. I also think I possess a special type of creativity that only I can see, especially when I am behind the camera or setting up a photoshoot.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

We have one life, live it to your fullest. If people are looking at you weird or in a negative way, it is probably because they do not have goals as high as the sky like you do. An astronaut would not judge you for trying to get into NASA. A doctor would not judge you for failing and trying again for the MCAT. So why would other models?
