My name is Marina C. I’m 20 years old, and I’m from Massachusetts. I'm currently in college studying nursing.
Tell us about your modeling experience:
Ive been modeling for a little over a year now. Throughout the past year I’ve done bridal runway shows, Rhode Island Fashion week, and attended numerous casting calls for hair shows, and runway shows. .
What is your biggest dream?:
My biggest dream is to walk in New York and LA fashion week, but to also become a pediatric nurse.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?:
Being your own kind of beautiful means to me, expressing myself through my values, style, and everyday life by being who I am and proud of it regardless of what other people might say or think.
How would you describe your fashion style?:
I would describe my fashion style as classy chic with a splash of vintage. And I would never turn away an animal print!
Who/ what inspires you?:
My biggest inspiration is Demi-Leigh (Nel-Peters) Tebow. What I admire most about her is that she is not only beautiful on the outside, but most importantly she’s beautiful on the inside. She carries herself with class, integrity, and honors God in all that she does, something is which I aspire to do as well.
What has been your greatest accomplishments? :
One of my greatest accomplishments was making an elite club soccer team when I was in High school, and being able to travel and play in various states and even Canada.
Do you have any special talents?:
A talent of mine I feel is unique, is that I grew up around various farm animals, and I am very comfortable working with them.
Describe an obstacle you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you?:
An obstacle I encountered that has empowered me as a young woman, was overcoming a toxic relationship. This shaped me to be much stronger. I take the lessons I learned from it and try to help others who may be facing the same things I was at one point.
What makes you feel beautiful?:
What makes me feel beautiful is knowing that I am a child of God and that I am loved.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?:
To a person struggling with their confidence, I would tell them no matter where you Come from, what you’ve been through, with Jesus love, we can over come anything, and through him we can conquer anything. And to always be true to themselves, and to never compromise.
