Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)
I am originally from St. Louis, Missouri, I was raised in Herndon, Virginia, and I am currently living in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I was a cheerleader and a dancer. I love to be on stage!
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to be successful in the cosmetology and fashion industry. I want to help others feel confident with their natural beauty.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
Being your own kind of beautiful means expressing yourself in your truest form. Confidence is the key player behind external beauty. Learning to love and accept yourself and dreams allows for radiance to shine from within. Being your own kind of beautiful is going out against the norm with your chin held high and a smile on your face.
How would you describe your fashion style?
My fashion style is classy and simple. I love neutral colors and prefer stylish/comfort clothing.
Who or what inspires you?
My father inspires me to work hard and persevere even in the toughest of situations. He shows me that life isn't as bad as you think and God always has a plan.
My fashion icon is Maryland Monroe in regards to her classy yet sexy wardrobe. Her winged eyeliner and bold red lips is my favorite go to look.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
Be confident in who you are and never change yourself for others!
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
I have built my life from the ground up, I've faced many challenges at a very young age. My most recent challenge I have overcome was my decision to leave college. I knew that school was not leading me down the path I was made for. I faced a lot of adversity for this choice; However, I am so blessed I left. Today I stand more confident than ever and look forward to what my future has to offer. In doing so I learned to pick myself up and work hard to achieve my dreams.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
My ability to laugh and smile through just about anything makes me beautiful. My passion to help and inspire others makes me beautiful. My confidence in myself and my own intuition makes me beautiful. My commitment to kindness makes me beautiful.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
It is okay to be yourself even if the whole room is the opposite of you. Take pride in the things that make you unique and different. There are 1 million people who look, dress and act the same. Why not be the one who doesn't? Confidence comes from yourself and only yourself. It's important to take time to accept and love your flaws just as much as your favorite parts.
