Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)

Hello! My name is Stephanie Lovrin and I am 22 years old, from Sonoma County California. I currently live in Boulder, Colorado with my mom, three cats, and dog. I am graduating college with my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology next month, and not exactly sure my next steps after graduating. I have always had dreams of becoming a model, and with the unfortunate pandemic I found myself wanting to go out of my comfort zone. I started working out, eating healthier, and developing a routine that made me feel my most confident self.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

No professional experience, but I have always loved having my picture taken and have always been told I am very photogenic. I am so excited to start my modeling journey with Hannah Noelle Models, as I believe I was meant to start this journey at this point in my life.

What is your biggest dream?

To be a professional model and influencer, and inspire young woman to be their most confident, true self. I have always been on the shorter side and felt I could never model, and this is my opportunity to prove otherwise.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Being your own kind of beautiful means not being negatively influenced by society, being your most confident self, and letting your inside beauty shine outwards.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would say my style is both elegant and modern. I collect many vintage designer Louis Vuitton and Gucci accessories as my first “purse” was a very small Louis Vuitton change purse that is from my Grandma, whom when she was younger was a model in Israel. When I was younger, she used to show me her modeling pictures and I have always been in love with her style. She could make any piece of clothing a statement!

Who or what inspires you?

My mother inspires me, who raised me as a single mom who struggled with mental health problems. Many times growing up I watched her struggle and fight to be the best mother she could, and I would not ask for anyone else to be my mother. She has become a strong, confident woman who embraces her mental illness and has inspired me to help treat my own anxiety issues.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Be yourself! Stand out be embracing who you are without any restraints. Starting out with modeling feels intimidating at first, but by being uniquely yourself all the light will shine on you.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

I use to hid the fact that I am Jewish because when I was younger, I was bullied and called horrid names by some of my classmates. I would pretend to play along when jokes were made because I didn’t want to be the student that stood out. On my first day of seventh grade, I had change thrown at me by a group of students at my school. It has only made me stronger over time, as I am now an adult that fully embraces my religion.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

As a woman, I feel beautiful on the outside when I love who I am on the inside. By being a kind and honest person, I feel beautiful on the inside which shines outward. I also feel the most beautiful when I surround myself with those who lift me higher.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

I would let the person know that everyone struggles with their confident sometimes, and it doesn’t make them any less of a person. We are all our own worst critiques. Confidence is about letting go of all the insecurities felt by others and not feeling pressured by others to change who you are.
