Tell us about yourself:

I was born and raised in Long Island, New York and I am 25 years old. I am a mother to my 4 year old son, his name is Luca and he is my absolute world. It is so important for me as a mother to inspire and influence my son to aim high and set goals when it comes to achieving your dreams. Since the time I was a little girl I have always dreamed big of being on billboards, in magazines, and walking in fashion shows. Along with being a mother & pursuing a modeling career I am a medical assistant specializing in Dermatology. I have always been very passionate about skin care and taking care of my body. My fitness and health journey has completely transformed my life and the way I live. The process of becoming physically stronger, eating correctly, and taking care of my mental health not only has helped me with pursuing my career in modeling but has made me a better mom. Better health is more important than beauty and with better health comes beauty.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream in my life would be to be a strong inspiration, role model to women. To change the negative mindsets that so many women especially in my generation have towards their dreams, their appearance, their body, their life. It is so commonly said "If you set your mind to something, you can achieve it", yet how do we change our mindsets to be able to achieve our goals. By changing our environment, our lifestyles, removing ourselves out of the small box that society likes to put us in; to be patient and have grace with ourselves through every stage in life. Achieving small goals at a time, creating a plan, and allowing ourselves to be a beginner. To learn and grow positively. In this industry, modeling comes with creativity, drive, passion, confidence, walking strong, giving everything you've got.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Being your own kind of beautiful to me means to embrace change. We are all growing and learning everyday, going through our own highs and lows. When you embrace the change in your life you develop a level of confidence that shines through and inspires the people around you. Being your own kind of beautiful also means embracing your individuality; I believe that God made us all different to be able to embrace our individuality, and that to me is beautiful.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would say my fashion style is definitely a balance of sexy and classy. I have always loved the idea of dressing very business- like, yet making it more of a feminine look.

Who or what inspires you?

Since I was a child I shared a passion for modeling and fashion with my grandma. Playing dress up, make believe fashion shows, and watching America's Next Top model together are some strong memories that have bonded us. She has always been my number one supporter and modeled a bither self back in her day.

I also find so much fashion inspiration from Audrey Hepburn. Her timeless and classic look along with her empathy for the world around her has always been something I have admired. She had such a graceful nature.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Start with small goals, and be proud of yourself when you achieve them. Have a level of confidence and positivity that people feel when they meet you, and allow yourself to be a beginner taking every opportunity to learn and grow.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you?

The biggest obstacle I have overcome in my life was becoming a single mother. I remember how terrified I was, the fear of the unknown doing it all on my own. With great trials and tribulations that put your endurance and strength to the test, we come out stronger. I have the most amazing God given gift, my son is my motivation to be the absolute best version of myself.

What makes you beautiful?

I believe what makes me beautiful is the courage I have had in my life. I have overcome so much yet I have kept going and been resilient in pursuing my dreams. A physical trait that I feel that makes me beautiful would be my eyes and the different shades of grey, green & blue that can be captured in different lighting in photos.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

I believe confidence is about your mindset, it's not a destination. It is important to remember that every successful person has been where you are and felt what you are feeling before. Don't overwhelm yourself, embrace every part of yourself and start to change positively to be even better than you were yesterday. Remind yourself that it is okay to make mistakes. Remember your passion and who you are. You are great, you are talented, you are unique, you are creative, you are valued, you are forgiven, you are abundant, you are deserving, you are fearless.
