Tell us about yourself:

My name is Aniela and I am from Detroit, Michigan. Creating art is my passion, so showcasing my talents through a lens allows me to explore different avenues.

Tell us about your modeling experience:

My passion for modeling really came out when I was younger. I put my dream on hold to pursue studies, and now I am pursuing what excites and challenges me again.

What is your biggest dream:

To bring as many ideas to life. I see modeling as an opportunity to inspire and connect with people and brands through what I love and value most.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful:

Being your own kind of beautiful to me is honing in on what makes you happy and confident, and focusing on making that happen each day.

How would you describe your fashion style:

I would describe my fashion style as simple with a pop of color. Definitely agree with the wrong shoe theory, and I take inspiration from mid-century modern art/fashion. I love mixing warm and cool tones and try to have as many textures going on.

Who or what inspires you:

I am inspired by people who love to create! Being able to have a vision and bring it to life inspires me to create in any way I can.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling:

As someone who is just getting back into modeling, walking with confidence is something I have been working on. Confidence shines through in your face, so make sure your mind and body is right and everything will fall into place.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you:

As someone who is from a small town but very ambitious, I have faced many obstacles in completing my goals as a young woman. Being able to live in the present has really changed and shaped me in this time.

What makes you beautiful:

I am able to see things from a different perspective and see what makes others unique in a beautiful way. Finding the positive in someone everytime I meet them, makes me beautiful.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence:

I would say to focus on affirmations, and speaking to yourself in a positive light. If you have negative thoughts and words, that will resonate. Be mindful of your own well being!
