Tell us about yourself

I am originally from Pittsburgh, PA, but now reside in Charleston, SC. I'm 24 years old.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I have been modeling seriously for about a year now. I have experience in swim and fitness shoots, commercial shoots, bodyscape/boudoir, and artistic/creative shoots. I want to be the type of model that is very diverse and can do a little bit of everything, so I try to do as many different types of shoots as I can.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to be a on the cover of Sports Illustrated and Vogue and to walk in high fashion runways.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To be my own kind of beautiful means that I am unapologetically myself and have no fear of being vulnerable with the people I love.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would describe my fashion style as "model off duty" or the "clean girl aesthetic." I like to be comfortable in the clothes I wear, but still be ready to break out into a runway walk if I need to. You never know who's looking at you!

Who or what inspires you?

My parents are massive inspirations for me. I grew up watching the hard work that my parents put into their careers and personal lives to achieve their goals, both individually and as partners. They both passed their work ethics onto me and I know I will be just as successful at achieving my goals as they were because of it. Creatively, music is my go to for inspiration. I have conjured up entire photoshoot ideas just from a singular song lyric. Music is a must when in my creative space!

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Don't be afraid to try. I have wanted to be a model since I was 14, but was too afraid to try until now. And now I'm signed with an agency!!! You miss 100% of the shots that you don't take, so give it your all, try your hardest, and have fun.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

Some obstacles I have overcome in my life were my poor self esteem, relationship with my body, and alcohol abuse. For such a long time my self-esteem was incredibly low and I hated the way my body looked, so I turned to alcohol to numb those feelings.  I sought out help from a mental health professional and still continue to work with her weekly to keep my mind in tip top shape so I don't have a relapse. I was my own worst enemy for a number of years, but now, I have never been more confident, am in love with myself and my body, and have a healthy relationship with alcohol. That experience was transformational and taught me some incredibly important lessons. It is a gift to exist and I am grateful for the experiences that I wish didn't happen.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

What makes me beautiful is my bubbly personality, work ethic, and loyalty to my most important relationships.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

I would tell them that confidence takes time and practice. Working daily on self love practices, taking care of your physical and mental health, and finding the proper balance between work and play made the biggest difference for me. Building up confidence is a process that can sometimes feel like it takes forever, but it will come!
