Tell us about yourself.

I grew up in Colorado and now currently live in Wyoming. Being surrounded and inundated by such beautiful landscapes in these two states ignited in me a passion for photography, which is a skill I still am eagerly pursuing and refining. I am also a published author with an adoration for all things writing and rhetoric related. I’ve been a ballet, interpretive, and contemporary dancer for upwards of 15 years of my life. I also, funny enough, love raising chickens! They’re an addicting hobby that I love telling people about (probably in more words and with more enthusiasm than one might consider normal!) I grew up in the hotel industry where my parents owned and operated a lodge in Estes Park, CO, and now they manage a destination resort southwest of Laramie, WY. As one could imagine, growing up in such an environment is not commonly found, and has definitely provided unique opportunities to meet and connect with people– literally– from all across the globe.  I find it particularly meaningful and special to know that I have friends spread across the whole scope of the nation– even in other countries– all simply because they crossed my path seeking a vacation spot. Working in the hospitality business also revealed to me my love for meeting new people and merely conversing with them for the sake of it. People are fascinating, and once they start telling you their story, they unlock further levels of intrigue that I, personally, find to be utterly captivating. Simply put: I love people, I love conversations, I love growing in and discovering truth, goodness, and beauty in life.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I’ll be up front and honest and say that I have often held a prejudice against most modeling positions and agencies, as I have witnessed a great deal of negative attitudes in models and their line of work. As a result, and despite being scouted and offered modeling roles in the past, I have mainly steered clear of associating myself with such a world. However, as my love for photography has evolved and grown over the years, I’ve come to realize the sheer art and elegance that lies within modeling, that has nothing to do with a given model or agency, but rather is found just in the content and unspoken message portrayed through the portraits and poses themselves. Modeling is a beautiful form of art, as is photography. Being a dancer has also proved to me the great impact that can lie in simply expressing movement through your body and conveying emotion through your face. These realizations and experiences have offered a new framework for which I’ve constructed an opinion on modeling.  The Hannah Nolle Agency manifests and aims to drive home these same values and purposes, which is why I ultimately said yes in representing them, and am happy to be here!

What is your biggest dream?

Albeit may seem out-dated or simplistic, I dream of being a wife and mother one day. I can think of no greater honor than to support and love the man who has chosen me to be his wife and to raise, equip, and care for the next generation. We are one another’s greatest legacy and to know I made an impact in the lives of the people I loved and the family I created and raised, would be, in my eyes, the greatest success.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

The fact that each one of us is undeniably different from each other–all the way down to the chromosomal and atomic levels– speaks to the beauty found in individuality. Expressing your unique personhood, as someone intricately knit together by God and a vessel containing His Life, is the surest way to reveal the magnificence and splendor of what it looks like to be you. What is beauty if not for someone living vibrantly and authentically as who they were created to be?

How would you describe your fashion style?

Definitely very feminine. I never grew out of the little girl phase of loving sparkly, glittery things. As a result, I’m almost always wearing some kind of silver, sparkly jewelry and clothing that typically compliments it. I try to always blend a combination of classy, flattering, and comfy into what I wear. I love dresses, as they fit into all three of those categories. I also really enjoy putting in effort into my appearance. I know the common trend these days definitely seems to fall more in line with the casual, dressed-down look, but I personally think putting in the effort to present yourself with elegance, poise, beauty, and confidence paves the way for positive first impressions, productive and accomplished days, and an overall attitude of discipline and determination.

 Who or what inspires you?

This may seem obvious or cliche’ but I cannot think of a more honest answer: people inspire me. Whether I am reading about the philosophies of the ancient great thinkers, like Aristotle or Plato, or I am listening to the great musical masterpieces of Mozart or Stavinsky, or I am hiking a mountain while engaging in conversation with a good friend, I am perpetually awed and inspired by people– by what they create, by what they think.  I am so blessed to have so many friends in my life, who are all so different and unique, that constantly push me towards truth, while also adding such beauty, laughter, joy, and wisdom to life. Whenever I think about the moments in my life that I felt the most inspired, there is always a person attached to that memory, which leads me to the conclusion that people– who they are, the lives they live and the legacies they leave, are the greatest source of inspiration.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

We’re in this together! As I stated before, I’m new to this industry as well, and I think it’s important to recognize that a lot of us are literally just winging this and figuring it out as we go. I wish we could admit to that reality more in any particular job position, as it really does allow for a sense of comfort and comradery to exhibit when people know they’re all on the learning journey together.  Don’t be afraid to admit you don’t know something; I’ve found that people actually really love helping one another improve. Don’t rob someone of the blessing of helping you grow. And be sure to always celebrate when you learn something new! Then, perhaps before you’re even aware it’s happening, you’ll be the person offering guidance to that next individual seeking it.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

Suffering the losses of people close to me has definitely proved to be an overwhelming obstacle in my life that I still remain terrified of, despite having gone through it numerous times for different reasons. Unfortunately, this particular obstacle is also unavoidable. Whether it’s through death or life seasons changing, people really do come and go, and this simple fact of life can be one of the absolute hardest to accept. I believe it’s important to understand and maintain an identity that is separate from the people surrounding you, because otherwise if you lose them, you lose yourself. Furthermore, I think it’s equally important to not let what you do in life wholly define who you are. Thankfully, Christ offers us an identity that sets us apart from the people we know and the things we do. Only by knowing and embracing the person we are in Him can we actually keep our eyes fixed above the waves of change that constantly crash into us. Carrying that Christ-centered identity with you into relationships and circumstances provides a way to freely live, without the cost of loss being your ultimate determiner.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

I find this question rather challenging to answer, for I wouldn’t necessarily choose one element of my appearance or personality and say, “that is beautiful”. I would hope the person I am, as a whole, better displays the beauty I try to always seek, put forth, and call out. I am honored that over the years many, many people have vocalized to me the beauty they see in my appearance and, better yet, in my character.  I used to be incredibly insecure– of literally every last inch of me– and the journey God has walked me through of learning to behold the beauty in my identity, first and foremost, but also in my outward appearance, talents, skills, and abilities has been nothing but a journey of profundity that I hope and pray everyone experiences at some point in their own way.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

First I would tell them, I have felt paralyzed by fear countless times in my life. Yet, people tell me frequently that I am very confident in how I present and conduct myself. This surprises me every time because inwardly I tend to be very tentative, cautious, and anxious. But somehow, my demeanor tends to camp out in a place of steadiness and confidence. So let this go to show that none of us are actually as confident as we may seem. We all have deep-seated insecurities that haunt us. One of the great mysteries of God is how His power is “made perfect in our weakness”. The fact that we can rest in the safe reality of, “when we are weak, He is strong”, is rather baffling and yet holds true. Confidence will exude out of you, naturally, as you allow Christ to battle for you. And oftentimes, ironically, the less you think about how you are coming across to others, the more competent and assured of yourself you will seem. In short, don’t worry about it; it will happen on its own. I can promise you that.
