Tell us about yourself:

I’m Abigail J. and I’m 20 years old from Princeville, Illinois. I currently live in Kent, Ohio though.

Tell us about your modeling experience:

I don’t have much modeling experience. I’ve modeled in a fashion show at Kent State University and I’ve modeled my designs for photoshoots but that’s about it.

What is your biggest dream:

My biggest dream is to travel the world and to become a stay at home mom. I would also love to be a mental health advocate and help people become the best versions of themselves.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful:

Everyone is beautiful in their own ways. Some imperfections that you see are unique to you and what makes you beautiful. I also think it’s just how you carry yourself and how you treat others is your own kind of beauty.

How would you describe your fashion style:

I would describe my fashion style as a bit timeless and classy. It’s very Audrey Hepburn.

Who or what inspires you:

Nature is a big inspiration for me but also my own experiences. My friends also inspire me because they show me how I’m supposed to be treated and support me no matter what.

What is your advice for someone who is just getting started with modeling:

I would say my biggest advice is to just take the leap. Just go for it. I would also say to just be confident

because people will want you for you and you're beautiful in your own way.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you:

I have dealt with mental health issues and that’s made me who I am today. I am a lot more confident in myself after surrounding myself with loving and supportive people. Every struggle in my life has a purpose and God is using it in some way.

What makes you beautiful:

I would say my kindness and my smile is what makes me beautiful. I think beauty is more than just skin deep and it’s all about how you treat others too.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age struggling with their confidence:

I would say surround yourself with loving and supportive people. The people you surround yourself with

makes all the difference in your confidence. If you surround yourself with people who constantly

criticize you it’s going to translate into your mindset and it goes the same for if you surround

yourself with people who support you.
