  My name is Canaan Cross W. and I am twenty one and I live in Corsicana Texas home of Navarro cheer. I like to golf and hang with my family.

Tell us about your modeling experience. 

My modeling experience has been all good experiences. I attended the bella modeling school but after shortly went to Texas Tech and that took over my life. 

What is your biggest dream?  

My biggest dream in life is to become a momma and have some babies. My biggest dream in modeling is to walk in Milan or Paris Fashion Week. 

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful? 

What it means to be your own kind of beautiful to me is not just worrying about the outside, but focusing on the inside, and your true character and morals in life, the love in your heart, and the kindness in your soul.

How would you describe your style?

 I definitely love  a more preppy style. A gossip girl inspired look. Blake lively definitely inspires me. 

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling? 

My advice for someone who wanted to start modeling  would be to get some head shots taken. I would tell them going into it. You need to have a lot of confidence in yourself and know who you are and you’re not defined by getting a deal.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you. 

An obstacle I’ve ever come in. My life is feeling not smart enough. I was taken out of school at an early age, because my parents got divorced, and I had to homeschool it wasn’t as easy for me to understand the more complicated stuff because my mom was teaching me. I decided to go to college to Texas Tech and I felt like I wasn’t as smart as the other kids. I went to tutoring, and all my friends reached out to help me. I had a lot of support, and I wasn’t alone. There’s a shaped me because I’ve learned your value doesn’t rest in a grade or failing a class. Your value rest in your love, and your friendship and your relationships and your trust in yourself.

What makes you beautiful/handsome? 

Personally, what I think makes me beautiful is my personality and my heart. I definitely think my mom has a big role to play in it. I look just like her and she is the most gorgeous woman in the entire world in my opinion.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence? 

I would tell them that building confidence isn’t for the weak and it definitely takes time. I would ask them to write down things they move about them selves and start doing daily affirmations. I would tell them to believe in themselves because everyone is worthy in their own way.
