As someone who is also in the early stages of modeling, I say to be patient and believe in yourself. Self confidence is key in this industry as well as understanding that while you have potential it may take a while for the world to recognize it. Never put yourself down from what others say and think and always have a good attitude. I am a firm believer in what you put out in the world, is what you will receive.

Personal experiences from studying fashion in Paris this past summer is where most of my inspiration

comes from. Specifically, a day at the Dior Gallerie. Picture this: a young 18 year old girl stumbling

upon a never-ending hallway of Christian Dior’s best designs. Behind the physical garment stands a

screen, a screen with a recording of the model walking the runway in that particular garment. This is a

moment that I’ll never forget as it taught me a model’s job, which is to bring the designs to life. I will

forever be inspired to bring each and every garment to life and convey its story.

Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there and build connections with people. It may seem very intimidating but showing that you’re interested in pursuing this career and taking action will put you at a higher success rate. Also do your research on the industry. The more knowledgeable you are to the industry as well as developing model skills, the better it is to create a career for yourself in this industry. And most importantly, don’t let rejection discourage you, this industry is full of rejection and you will hear more no’s than yes’s. But don’t let those rejections define who you are and where you want to be. Keep working hard and you can achieve anything you put your mind towards.

Find a mentor and connect with as many people as you can. Try new things, be a "yes girl", and intentionally venture outside of your comfort zone.

To every friend I had that has struggled with their confidence, I always repeated the same words. You are going to look like this for the rest of your life. This is also the best you’re going to look in your life. You will only age from now. Learn to love yourself now, and adoring yourself in the future will come naturally.

I definitely have a 90s girl fashion style! Tight tops big jeans, big shirts, large coats, I guess you would call boy jeans. I like baseball caps. The Nike shoes but I love heels, long boots, love leather jackets. I do have naturally wavy hair so it is a vibe for me!

My biggest inspiration is people who do great things to break their weaknesses.

Such cases showed me how to be brave and never give up. We only live once and even though we don't have everything we desire, still we can do something good for the world or make our dreams come true.

My faith in God and in myself inspires me. I’m inspired by the possibilities that life has to offer. You can literally do anything your heart desires, but do you have the faith to believe that it can happen for you? I’m a witness of God’s goodness and promises.

Life inspires me because it’s so beautiful and knowing that we only have limited time here inspires me to make the most of it. My friends, other creatives, kind people, & nature also inspire me.

If there was a younger girl struggling with confidence, I’d first ask, who’s making you feel that way? If it’s yourself, you’re your own worst critic. You think everything you do isn’t good enough. But if you ask any other girl, she’d say the exact same thing.

To someone who struggles with their confidence needs to know that pretending that you are the most perfect person to walk on this earth is the only way to make yourself feel better. Fake it till you make it. People tend to perceive you the way present yourself. Remember that most people don’t like themselves so why does it matter what they think of you? Stand up straight and walk your walk like you own this earth.

Confidence, just like any muscle in your body has to be strengthened. Test yourself every once in a while. Start a conversation with your neighbor, your mailman, and after a while of doing that; notice how much easier it is. You build confidence.

I am beautiful because I am genuine and passionate about making others see their beauty as well. I feel most beautiful when I am able to help others. I have spent hundreds of hours volunteering with organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters, and it is so fulfilling to know that I can inspire little girls to love themselves and strive towards achieving their dreams.

I would describe my fashion style as casual/classy. I always love pairing jeans with a cute

crop top, or something simplistic. Wearing simplistic things can go a long way by showing

minimal effort. Sometimes I love dressing up in skirts (especially in the fall). I am open to trying

new fashion trends because I like to see what I can do with my style. My favorite season for

clothing is the Fall because of all the flannel materials/prints. I love being able to wear sweaters

with skirts or mom jeans. Sometimes I will wear flare leggings and a crop top for days I feel like

being comfy but also make it seem like I am putting effort into my outfit.

I’m my opinion fashion is an expression of how confident you are. So I really have no one singular style. I tend to feel my best in more basic pieces that are easy to grab out of my closet and throw on. But other times I like getting a bit more wild and adding an unusual sweater of pop of color in order to spice it up. No matter what I wear though I always make sure I feel my best because when I feel my best I perform my best!

My advice would be to stay to true to yourself and what makes you comfortable. Try out

different styles and do not be afraid to step outside the box, but always come back to what

makes you, you.

Look at the positive things about yourself. Do not let what others say or think determine how you feel about yourself. Focus more on the inner person not on the outside. If you can make improvements, then make them. Embrace the things you are insecure about. Invest in what can help build you up like clothes, hairstyles, etc., but Love You!! If you are an aspiring model or actor and need more confidence, practice, practice and attend workshops, whatever it takes to improve your skills.
